One of the first things that you probably will notice when you start shopping for a mobile concrete pump is that they come with one of two different types of engines; some models are equipped with electric engines while others are powered by diesel.
Most people prefer diesel concrete pumps, simply because they are a lot more versatile. They can be used in areas where there is no electricity available, making them a lot more practical for use in remote locations. The most basic concrete pumps are line pumps. Operating one of these pumps is relatively straightforward. Otherwise, you will need to stop and refuel frequently, which can slow your projects down.
Different types of diesel concrete pumps all have certain characteristics in common. For instance, they are all equipped with fuel tanks.
